Gross and Microscopic Anatomy

The AUIS Department of Basic Sciences, Barbados campus invites applications for the full time faculty position for teaching the following course
· Gross and Microscopic Anatomy
in the settings of System-Based Curriculum starting in January 2018.

Requirements:

MD or PhD degree or their equivalents (holders of both MD and PhD degrees are particularly encouraged to apply). Doctorates should be held in the areas of related field;
Demonstrated excellence, originality and productivity in teaching within a US, Canadian or Caribbean graduate or medical curriculum setting.

Desirable:
Experience in utilizing CyberAnatomy for teaching Anatomy course.
Barbadian and CARICOM nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with an interest in teaching Premedical Sciences courses are especially encouraged to apply.
Individuals who have experience teaching more than one subject or teaching system based curriculum are encouraged to apply.

Appointment and compensation:
Depending on teaching experience and qualifications, appointment shall be made at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor level. Salary offered is commensurate with experience. An attractive benefits package including access private health insurance is also offered.
