  • Biography

    Dr. Sankova began her career in medicine with an MD from Leningrad State Medical Academy in Russia in 1983.

    Her professional experience includes working as a Professor and as the Course Coordinator of Gross Anatomy and Embryology. Dr. Sankova is also a member of the editorial board of the medical journal “Perspective of Medicine and Biology.” She has recently also been a Chairman of the Drug Testing Committee. Furthermore, Dr. Sankova has received a certificate of recognition from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Her publications include more than 40 articles. The most recent was “Age and gender specific characteristics of spongy bone architectonic in lumbar vertebral bodies,” in a publication in Boston’s International congress of Experimental Biology, April 2013.

  • Research Interests

    Dr. Sankova’s research interests include study of variations of anatomical structures (mainly nerves and vessels) and medical anthropology.
