Dr. Dhiman received his medical degree from Punjabi University, India. Following his internship at Government Medical College, he worked as a junior resident in Pediatrics and Psychiatry and also practiced medicine for several years as a Medical Officer.
After gaining a wide practical experience as a Medical Officer and Senior House Officer in Accident and Emergency Department, Dr. Dhiman joined full time teaching position at the Medical University of Americas (MUA) in Nevis as an Assistant Professor. At MUA, Dr. Dhiman was awarded the most favorite professor among the first semester students, was the Chair of the Faculty Development Committee and a member of the Promotions Committee. He then joined Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica in 2009 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy. He was a Module Director for integumentary module and Course Director for second semester Gross Anatomy students. He taught Gross Anatomy and Neuro-anatomy for second-semester students and also conducted Problem Based Learning [PBL] sessions. In 2018, he joined the University of Medicine and Health Sciences (UMHS) in St. Kitts, where he also taught Radiology. He is married and has one daughter and likes listening to music.
